My Journey, My Testimony

Life is messy isn’t it? One thing that I have realized time and time again is that the “perfect, seemingly put-together person” we think we are talking to really has struggles, pain and problems just like us. What I have found is that when I choose to be open and vulnerable with someone, more often than not, they will also lay down their guard and share with you the pain in their own life. I have been blown away with the stories, journeys, trials, and testimonies that others have shared with me after I have told them my story.

After I knew of my husband’s affair I wanted answers. I wanted help, testimonies of overcomers, and godly advice. Honestly as I surfed the web I didn’t find very much for these categories, especially finding hope in someone’s personal experience through it. So I decided I wanted to write about my journey, and what God has done.

I’ve taken on a motto of sorts that “This is my journey that will one day be my testimony.”  I share it in hopes that if you are like me, you will be encouraged knowing you are not alone. That as I see even writing and looking back how God’s hand has been through it all. How He faithfully showed up time and again, bringing Hope, Forgiveness, Love, Peace, Joy, and New Life.
